TNT cease flights from Cork,
18/07/08
TNT recently ceased it's daily Cork cargo flight, and
moved operations to Shannon. The flight had operated in to Cork from
Liege each weekday morning at 0730, and departed each evening to Liege,
via Shannon, at 1930 with a BAe 146-300QT. Allegedly the move resulted
from escalating costs, and the cost of operating the flight between Cork
and Shannon each day was too high. TNT still retain their warehouse at
Cork Airport, and freight is now transported by road to Shannon. C-S ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
